Wednesday Wellness: Warm
Happy Hump Day! The middle of the week is a great time to reflect on how far you’ve come, and also a great time to engage in goal setting for how you’d like to further grow throughout the rest of your work week. While change might seem scary, and while it might seem like something you need to warm up to, there’s no time better than the present to accept that change is an inevitable part of life. Just as autumn serves as the transition from summer to winter, let this be a time to examine your personal areas of opportunity and strive to make improvements. To help you mentally warm up before taking those next steps, keep in mind the curated sayings below that we’re highlighting for you today:
- “I acknowledge my ability to transform myself, and reflect on my journey, whilst anchoring myself in the present moment, enjoying where I am right now.”
- “I am excited to see what new opportunities and possibilities come into my life.”
- “Just as trees release dead leaves, I release anything that doesn’t serve me.”
Taking a moment to stop and reflect will allow you to engage in self-reflection that is sure to allow for your unique professional strengths to shine through, giving you a chance to breathe so you can hit the ground running when changes come your way. Rather than viewing these adjustments as a challenge, think of them as exciting new opportunities. And to be fully present amongst times of transition, make sure you’re letting go of any past negativity that might be bogging you down. Visit us again tomorrow as we look at even more methods for warming up to any workplace circumstances that might come your way.
